# Global Project Settings

> Configure settings including the project code counter and notifications

The Global Project Settings window allows administrators to customise settings that affect Projects for all users. To open this settings window go to **Project -> <Icon icon="gear" /> -> Global Project Settings**.

| Setting                          | Description                                                                                                                     | Options                          |
| -------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------- |
| **Next Project Code**            | This setting allows you to start the project shortcode counting at a different number                                           |                                  |
| **Enable Project Notifications** | If enabled, project notifications will be sent to project participants about any changes made to projects they've been added to | <ul><li>Yes</li><li>No</li></ul> |
