# System Settings

> Configure default system behaviors for your team

The settings on this page configure the default settings for your system. These behaviours and settings are applied as defaults to new users you create.

<Tip>The settings set in each user's [My Account](/en/ui/my-account) page will override these settings</Tip>

## Settings

* **Company Name** - Is used on [quotes and invoice themes](/en/admin/quote-invoice-themes#shortcodes) and populates the `[companyName]` shortcode
* **Default Timezone** - Sets the default timezone for new users. All booking times, calendar feeds, and timestamps will display according to this timezone.
* **Default Language / Locale** - Sets the default locale used for language and regional conventions (e.g. English (US), Deutsch (DE)). Affects system UI text and formatting of currencies.
* **Default Date Format** - Sets the default date format (e.g. dd/mm/yyyy, mm/dd/yyyy, yyyy-mm-dd)
* **Default Time Format** - Sets the default time format for users, choose 12-hour or 24-hour clock display.
